She leaves a family of children, Messrs.John, Fred and George Glassbrenner, Mrs. John Redmond, Mrs. Chas.Gross and Mrs. John Winger. The funeral will take place at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon from theresidence of Mr. Fred Glassbrenner, in North Alton. From: Alton Evening Telegraph, Monday, December 6, 1897; Page 3, Col.5: Funeral of Mrs. Glassbrenner The remains of Mrs. Barbara Glassbrenner were brought to Alton fromSt. Louis yesterday morning, and taken to the home of her son, Mr.Fred. Glassbrenner, at North Alton where the funeral services wereheld at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Bradley,officiating. The grandsons of the deceased lady acted as pall bearers.
