Death of Mrs. Barbara Glassbrenner

Mrs. Barbara Glassbrenner, of North Alton, died yesterday morning at 8o’clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anton Heisler in St. Louis.Mrs. Glassbrenner was eighty-six years of age and one of the oldestresidents of this vicinity. She leaves a family of children, Messrs.John, Fred and George Glassbrenner, Mrs. John Redmond, Mrs. Chas.Gross and Mrs. John Winger.

The funeral will take place at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon from theresidence of Mr. Fred Glassbrenner, in North Alton.

Funeral of Mrs. Glassbrenner

The remains of Mrs. Barbara Glassbrenner were brought to Alton fromSt. Louis yesterday morning, and taken to the home of her son, Mr.Fred. Glassbrenner, at North Alton where the funeral services wereheld at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Bradley,officiating. The grandsons of the deceased lady acted as pall bearers.
