William Graham, brother of the groom, and Miss Betty Rose Terpening,sister of the bride, witnessed the ceremony performed by Justice ofthe Peace Henry P. Beneze. The bride was in a white net gown, over a satin foundation, and wore ashort veil, white accessories, gardenia corsage, and a gold necklace.Satin streamers fell down the front of the gown, which had asweetheart neckline, long sleeves and a full skirt. The bridesmaid was in a pink Satin frock, fashioned along linessimilar to that in the bridal gown, white accessories and a pinkcarnation corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Graham are residing at 704 Franklin avenue.

ALTON - Gloria Hope Graham, 88, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Saturday,November 22, 2014, at Alton Nursing and Rehab in Alton, Ill.
She was born on June 20, 1926 in Alton, Ill., the daughter of the lateErnest D. and Myrtle F. (Goodpasture) Terpening.
Gloria married Vane L. Graham on July 14, 1945, in Alton. He passedaway on May 10, 2004.
She was a dedicated wife to her husband of 58 years, loving mother andsister. She was employed at W. T. Grant Dept. Store in Alton for manyyears. She was a Den mother of the Boy Scouts Cub #10. She enjoyedlistening to music and anything Elvis.
Gloria is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and BradBerg of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Terry; and twosisters, Betty J. Logan and June M. McLaughlin.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until funeral service at 1 pm Tuesday,November 25, 2014 at Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton,with Father David Boase officiating.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
