Terry W.Graham, 31, of Godfrey died at 4:16 a.m. today at St. Joseph’sHospital following a traffic accident. Born in Alton, son of Vane and Gloria (Terpening) Graham, he wasemployed as a laborer with Mead Packing Co. He married the former Connie Burns on Dec. 27, 1980 in Godfrey. Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are onestepdaughter, Kelly McCollum; one stepson, Craig McCollum, and hisgrandfather, Ernest Terpening. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Gent Funeral Home whereservices will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Kenneth Edelman officiating. Burial will be in Upper Alton Cemetery. Godfrey man is killed in crash
A 31-year-old Godfrey man, Terry W. Graham of 312 Neptune, was killedearly today in a one-car accident in the 6500 block of Humbert Road,the Madison County Sheriff´s Department reported.
According to the sheriff´s report, Graham, alone in his car, wasnorthbound on Humbert Road when he lost control of the vehicle, struck a tree and overturned.
Graham was pinned in the wreckage and the Godfrey Fire DepartmentRescue Squad was called to the accident to extricate him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Madison County Coroner DallasBurke.
The accident occurred at 3:30 a.m.
