    MEDORA
    Vera M. Sanders, 92, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at SaintAnthony's Hospital in Alton.
    She was born Feb. 21, 1912, in Chesterfield to Joseph and Fern(Middlekauff) Metcalfe.
    She married Norton Harold Sanders on Jan. 12, 1932, in Chesterfield.He died July 26, 1999.
    She worked at the Sanders family farm and was past president of theGreene County Saddle Club, a Kemper Ag 4-H leader and a member of theAlton Horticultural Society.
    Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and ElaineSanders of Medora and Robert and Alta Sanders of Baton Rouge, La.; sixgrandchil¬dren and their spouses, Marsha Chamberlain of Brighton, MarkSanders of Danville, Ill., Thomas and Janice McAfee and Chad Sanders,all of Medora, and Grant and Patricia Geisler and Thomas and SusanGeisler, all of Baton Rouge; nine great-grandchildren, Brian andElizabeth McAfee, Christopher, Nicholas and Katlin Geisler, Savannahand Sophie Grace Sanders and
    Craig and Laura Chamberlain; and one brother, Thomas Metcalfe ofChesterfield, Ill.
    She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Targhetta Funeral Home inMedora, where the Rev. Delbert Pancake will conduct funeral servicesat 10 a.m. Friday.
    Burial will be at Medora Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to the Medora Methodist Church or the church ofone's choice.
