BRIGHTON - Norton H. Sanders, 89, of Medora, died at 2:08 a.m. onMonday, July 26, 1999, at Robings Manor Nursing Home in Brighton.
Born Sept 23, 1909, in Kemper, he was the son of the late Pearl H. andLouise (Richardson) Sanders.
He married Vera (Metcalfe) Sanders on Jan. 12, 1932, in Chesterfield.She survives.
He was a lifetime dairy farmer and member of the Medora UnitedMethodist Church and a director at the Farmer's State Bank of Medorafrom 1957 until 1998.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in law, Kenny and ElaineSanders of Medora and Robert and Alta Sanders of Baton Rouge, La.; sixgrandchildren, Marsha Chamberlain of Brighton, Mark Sanders ofDanville, Janice McAfee and Chad Sanders, both of Medora, and PatriciaGeisler and Thomas Norton Sanders, both of Baton Rouge, La.; and sixgreat grandchildren, Brian and Elizabeth McAfee, Craig and LauraChamberlain, Savanah Sanders and Christopher Geisler.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Targhetta FuneralHome in Medora, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Medora Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Medora United Methodist Church, where hewas a member.
