Kenneth Sanders
MEDORA
Kenneth W. Sanders, 77, of Medora, died at 4:26 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27,2013, at Jersey Community Hospital.
He was born in Carlinville, Ill., on Oct. 10,1936, son of NortonHarold and Vera (Metcalfe) Sanders.
He married Elaine (Burke) Sanders of Medora on June 9, 1956, inMedora.
He was a dairy and agricultural farmer at Twin Willow Farms.
He was a former member of the Medora Cemetery Board, Medora MethodistChurch Board, Farmers State Bank Trustee,
Southwestern School Board and Ruyle Township trustee and supervisor
He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Chamberlain, Brighton, andJanice and Tom McAfee, Medora; four grandchildren, Brian
and Christina McAfee, Elizabeth McAfee, Craig Chamberlain and LauraChamberlain; one great-grandchild, Benjamin McAfee,
brother, Robert Sanders of Baton Rouge, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Targhetta &Wooldridge Funeral Home in Medora where services will be at
10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, with Fr. William Hembrow officiating.
Burial will be at Medora Cemetery.
Memorials may be to Medora Cemetery or the Medora Fire Department.
