Mrs. Henry Boady
Dies at Age 86
Mrs. Barbara Boady, 86, widow of Henry Boady, died at 1 p.m. today, inSt. Anthony’s Infirmary, of the infirmities of age. Mrs. Boady, whohad been in feeble health for several years, had been a patient at theinfirmary since last January.
Mrs. Boady was born Sept. 19, 1860, in Jersey County, but had spentthe greater part of her life in Alton. Her husband, a former employeof Alton Gas & Electric Co. has been dead about 15 years.
Surviving are a son, Oliver Boady, St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. NolaSpencer, and four sisters, Mrs. Bruce Rintoul, Mrs. John Toupno, andMrs. John Grenzbach, all of Alton; and Mrs. Sadie Starr of Chicago;and a brother, John Glassbrenner, St. Louis, one grandson, and onegreat-grandchild.
The body is at Staten funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
