Mrs. Henry Boady
Dies at Age 86
Mrs. Barbara Boady, 86, widow of Henry Boady, died at 1 p.m. today, inSt. Anthony’s Infirmary, of the infirmities of age. Mrs. Boady, whohad been in feeble health for several years, had been a patient at theinfirmary since last January.
Mrs. Boady was born Sept. 19, 1860, in Jersey County, but had spentthe greater part of her life in Alton. Her husband, a former employeof Alton Gas & Electric Co. has been dead about 15 years.
Surviving are a son, Oliver Boady, St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. NolaSpencer, and four sisters, Mrs. Bruce Rintoul, Mrs. John Toupno, andMrs. John Grenzbach, all of Alton; and Mrs. Sadie Starr of Chicago;and a brother, John Glassbrenner, St. Louis, one grandson, and onegreat-grandchild.
The body is at Staten funeral home pending funeral arrangements.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Barbara Boady, 86, who died of the infirmitiesof age Saturday in St. Anthony’s Infirmary, will be conducted Tuesdayat 2 p. m. in Staten funeral home by the Rev. Marshall Rice, pastor ofElm Street Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home.
