The marriage of Miss Eunice Koehne, daughter of Mrs. Bertha Koehne of307 Whitelaw avenue in Wood River, to Donald W, Kenney took placeThursday night, at 3 o’clock, in the parsonage of St. Patrick’sChurch.
The Rev. John Crosson performed the ceremony, and John Heintz and MissPauline Johnson served as the young couple’s attendants.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenney will take up their residence in an apartment onEast Fourth street, Mr. Kenney is with  the Great States Theaters ofAlton.
Mrs. Kenney is a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

Wedding Today
Donald Kenney and Mrs. Ethel Hellrung were married at 7 o’clock thismorning in St. Patrick’s Church and the Rev. John Crosson officiatedat the ceremony and read nuptial mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph K. Bergfeld, brother-in-law and sister of thebridegroom, were the couple’s attendants.
Mrs. Hellrung wore a powder blue suit with navy blue accessories forher marriage. Mrs. Bergfeld wore a pink suit and black accessories,and the bride and her matron of honor had corsages of roses.
Breakfast was served to members of the immediate families after theceremony, and later in the morning the couple left on a wedding tripto Chicago. They will reside in an apartment on State St.
Mr. Kenney, son of Mrs. Thomas Kenney of 1231 East Seventh St., andthe late Mr. Kenney, is employed by the Standard Oil Co. Mrs. Kenneyis a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Everett.

Donald Kenney
GODFREY - Donald W. Kenney, 82, passed away at 6:18 a.m. Monday, Jan.11, 1999, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 25,1916, in Alton, a son of the late Thomas and Alma(Wurth) Kenney.
He retired in 1971 from Amoco Refinery and Oil Co. in Wood River,following 38 years of service as a carpenter.
He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus Alton Council 460and volunteered much of his time assisting with C.A.S.A. Center ForAbused Children in Tucson, Ariz.
He married the former Eunice Koehne and she died in 1940. He latermarried the former Ethel Hellrung and she also preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Terry W. and Ann Kenneyof Godfrey; a twin sister, Dorothy Kenney of Godfrey; two grandsons,Stephen Kenney and Jonathan Kenney, both of Godfrey; and otherextended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters; ThomasKenney, John “Jack” Kenney, Evelyn Kenney and Ruth Bergfeld.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fine & Quinn ChapelFor Funeral, 6th and Henry Streets,  Alton, with a Rosary recitationat 4 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St.Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton with the Rev. Dan Barron as Celebrant.
Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to Marquette Catholic High School or to theNursing Home Monitors, 6111 Vollmer Lane, Godfrey, IL 62035.
