Death of Mrs. Robt. Martin
Mrs. Lillie Martin, wife of Robert Martin, died at her home in St.Louis, of heart trouble. She had been ill for some time with stomachtrouble, but her heart was affected Thursday and she died at 2:30Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Martin was a sister of H.W. Chamberlain, thewell known Alton druggist. She had before her marriage visited herewith her brother's family, and was quite well known. Her husbandsurvives her. The body of Mrs. Martin will be brought to Alton on theSaturday morning train, and the funeral will take place on theafternoon of the same day from Mr. Chamberlain's home 616 StateStreet. Interment in the city cemetery.
