Telescope and Optical Equipment

I am using a  Meade LX200GPS 10" f/10 SMT mounted on a permanent pier inside my observatory. I have enhanced the scope by replacing the nylon gears on the R.A. and Dec motor drives with metal gears, installed the focus kit and the Dec clutch kit from Peterson Engineering Corporation and replaced the collimating hex screws with Bob's Knobs. I also use a Takahashi FS-60C that is piggybacked on the LX200GPS. This scope works wonderfully for wide-field astrophotograhpy use.
