Remains of Marine Pfc. Louis J. Hellrung will arrive at the CollegeAvenue depot at 5:10 p.m. Monday and will be taken to Statcn funeralhome where friends may call unti1 time of services Tuesday. Rites willbe conducted at St. Mary’s church at 9 a.m., and burial will be in St.Joseph’s Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p. m., Monday.Marine Hellrung was killed in action in the battle for Saipan, June26, 1944, following his participation in the battle of Tarawa. Heentered service Dec. 4, 1942, and took boot training at San Diego,Calif. Before his induction he was employed by Noll Baking Co.
Born in Alton Feb. 5, 1906, Pfc. Hellrung was a member of St. Mary’schurch and attended the parish school. He was married to Miss EthelEveretts June 7, 1934.
Besides his wife, who will arrive in Alton this evening by plane fromSan Diego, Calif., where she has been making her home, he is survivedby his father, Henry, of Alton; three brothers, Albert and Henry ofAlton and Clarence of St. Louis; and a sister, Mrs. Martin Gradl ofAlton.

Rites Wednesday
Remains of Pfc. L. J. Hellrung will arrive in St. Louis at 7 p. m.today instead of at College Avenue depot at 5:10 p. m., today aspreviously announced.
Ben Staten will go to St. Louis to meet the train and will bring thebody to the funeral home, and the rosary will he recited at 9 p.m.today instead of 8 p. m.
Funeral services will be conducted at. 9 a. m. Wednesday and burialwill be in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
