Redmond
Margaret Redmond, 94, of Waterloo, Ill., died Monday at he MonroeCounty Nursing home in Waterloo, where she had been a patient the pastyear.
She was born in Brighton Aug. 18, 1875, to the late Mr. and Mrs.Michael Redmond. Her husband, Fred Redmond, preceded her in death in1917.
Surviving are a son, Eldon of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; 2 great -grandchildren; and three great - great - grandchildren. She alsoleaves nieces and nephews in the Alton area. Four sisters, threebrothers, and two sons preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at the Streeper Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today,and the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St.Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey. Msgr. H. J. Knoedler will becelebrant of the mass.
Burial will follow in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Redmond funeral
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. AmbroseCatholic Church in Godfrey for Mrs. Margaret Redmond. Msgr. H. J.Knoedler was celebrant of the mass.
Burial was in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery with Barry O’Neil, JamesRedmond , Bud Challacombe, Robert Kenefick, Gerald Flaherty, andCharles Streeper serving as pallbearers.
