Charles Everett
Funeral services for Charles Everett, 72, of Jerseyville, will beconducted Monday at 1 p.m. in Hoffmeister Mortuary, 7814 S. Broadway,St. Louis. Interment will be In Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, JeffersonBarracks.
Mr. Everett, a veteran of World War I, died Wednesday in JeffersonBarracks Veterans Hospital where he had been taken Tuesday. He hadbeen hospitalized for a short time in Jersey Community Hospital beforeentering the veterans hospital.
He was born at Bethalto, April 7, 1890, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.James Everett. Before his retirement he had worked as a railroadlaborer.
Surviving are a brother, Harry, Quincy, and six sisters: Mrs. EthelKenney,  Alton;  Mrs. Helen Simpson, Dorsey;  Mrs. Edith Suddarth,Chesterfield, Mo.,  Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Bethalto, Mrs. EleanorCarlson, St.  Louis, and Mrs. Harry Dlxon.
Three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
