ASHLEY CHAMBERLAIN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Ashley Chamberlain, aged 3 , died today after a long illness. He wasthe son of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Chamberlain, of Alton was born andreared in Alton. He was possessed of great talent as an artist and inearly life give promise of high achievement in that line, but acomplete breakdown of his health occurred. He had been an invalid foryears. Beside his parents he is survived by two brothers, Leslie andHarold Chamberlain, and one sister Mrs. E. G. Smith.

The funeral will be Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Lockundertaking parlors, and services will be conducted by Rev. M. W.Twing. The funeral will be private.

(Burial date: January 8, 1923).
